 This is a simple, lightweight communication device. It can be easily programmed with speech with just a few presses of the buttons. It has a 32-location keyguard, but can be programmed with as few as 4 or 8 locations as may be required by individual needs. It has high quality digitized speech, and comes with 3 standard or 5.25 minutes of extended speech. Additional speech is available with an optional module. The AlphaTalker has icon prediction that lights icons that typically follow in sequence of the one chosen by the user. The AlphaTalker permits transfer of vocabulary to a computer disk which protects against memory loss, but also serves to perform limited computer emulation. Prentke Romich 800-262-1984
