 DeltaTalker with Minspeak can be used to develop language. Its multi-meaning icons can be used to expand a person's knowledge of the world and develop new vocabulary. Because there is just one overlay with multi-meaning icons, people will be able to access any of the vocabulary that has been learned at any time. It offers 10 different synthesized voices for speech output, that can be adapted to fit any personality. The DeltaTalker allows the user to quickly and effectively communicate. Its other features include an optional infrared capability which allows the device to control TV and VCR, access a computer, open a door, or dial a phone.
