The Magic Wand is an input device for computers which consists of a miniature electronic keyboard, coupled with a wand-like tool with a metal tip. The wand plugs into a jack on the miniature keyboard. The user then selects keys on the keyboard by touching them with the metal tip of the wand. No pressure on the keyboard is required because the selection is made with an electric pulse. The sensitivity of the keyboard can be set to meet the needs of an individual user. This is important because some users may only be able to drag the wand across the keyboard. It is also possible to order special mouse software to work with this device. An extended wand comes with this device which allows individuals who use mouth sticks to operate it as well. The Magic Wand keyboard is very small, measuring 7 by 6 by .5 inches. Key latching functions are also possible with the Magic Wand. In Touch Systems 1-914-354-7431
