Switches refer to those devices which enable very simple motor movments (pressing, squeezing, lifting) to activate an electronically controlled machine (radio, game, T.V., computer etc.). Switches are available in a multitude of shapes and sizes and can be ordered from commercial manufacturers or can be homemade. Switches can be controlled by a hand, arm, foot, head, eyebrow, tongue, or any other muscle over which an individual has control. Most software can be activated with switches when used in conjuction with an AFC card or Ke:nx.
