The LipStick is an alternative input device to the standard Macintosh mouse for individuals with little or no hand movement or control. A joystick is mounted on an adjustable arm to make it easy to position for each user. The joystick can be operated with lips, chin, cheek, shoulder, arm, hand, or foot. It requires less then one inch of horizontal and vertical movement for use. There are sensitivity settings on the joystick to match the abilities of each user. Often this device is used with an on-screen keyboard program such as WordWriter, so that an individual can have access to the standard computer keyboard. McIntyre Computer Systems
